USC Ling Weekly Digest Sep.26

Hi folks! Here’s what’s happening this week:

Today, Monday 09/26, at 3:30pm in the Conference Room: Syntax+! Betül Erbaşı will give a talk on syntactic behavior of genitive phrases and compounds in Turkish and their implications for the nominal domain.

Tuesday 09/27, at 3:30pm in the Conference Room: PhonLunh! Yifan Yang will talk about “The realization of mutation in Chinese dialects”, and Peter Guekguezian will present “Autosegments interact with syntax-prosody mapping”.

Other highlights: this Thursday 09/29 at 1pm the USC Libraries will hold a workshop on Citation Managers, and throughout the entire week the Center for Excellence in Teaching will hold Career Week workshops. Check them out!

And remember: the deadline to submit to CUSP is this Friday, September 30!
